Families

The Brisbane Lady Gowrie Child Centre offers programs for children from six weeks to school age. Since 1940 parents have found support, encouragement and friendship as members of the Gowrie "family". Established initially as a demonstration children's centre by the Australian Government, today Gowrie (Qld) Inc. continues to function as a non-profit, community-based organisation which has grown to encompass 10 campuses and thirteen children's programs. Through the dedication of staff and the commitment to best practice in children's services, these programs provide a benchmark standard of quality care and education which is widely recognised through Australia. The programs are inclusive of all children and are licensed under the Child Care Act 2002 and Child Care Regulations 2003.
