Gowrie (Qld) Inc. through its programs and initiatives undertakes:

to ensure all services provided by the association are accessible and equitable.
to work with families to promote optimum developmental, educational and care experiences for children.
to develop and provide appropriate training, resources and support to the children's services sector.
to advocate for children, families and personnel in communicating with relevant government bodies to enhance the provision of effective children's services.
to develop and provide programs for the community which reflects cultural diversity and aids community development.
to advance professional knowledge in childhood development by participating in relevant industry research.
to affiliate with similar service providers on a local and national level for the assimilation and dissemination of information and knowledge on quality child care services.
